Data processed and purposes

Browsing. Connecting to this website and the services needed for it to work involves processing technical data, such as your IP address, browser information, the time and the resources requested. These data are used to deliver pages, keep services working and protect them from misuse. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in the operation and security of the website.

Enquiries. If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you provide to respond to and manage your enquiry. For enquiries about a stay, processing is necessary to take pre-contractual steps at your request.

Bookings. The Vikey calendar lets you select dates, the number of guests and an optional promotional code. Subsequent steps, including the data needed for booking and any payment, are handled through Vikey and the providers involved. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps or the contract; tax and administrative requirements relating to your stay are based on applicable legal obligations.

Providing data to contact us is optional. Data marked as required during booking are necessary to complete the service. Rates, cancellation terms and payment conditions are shown during the booking process.

External services

This website is hosted on the Sites platform and uses its technical infrastructure. The embedded calendar loads Vikey resources, including through Google Cloud, and communicates with Vikey services to show availability and rates. These providers receive the technical data needed for their respective functions.

For processing carried out by the booking service, please also read Vikey’s privacy notice (new tab) and its cookie policy (new tab). Opening the map takes you to Google Maps, where its own privacy notice applies.

Data may be processed by authorised persons and providers needed to deliver the services, as well as parties to whom data must be disclosed by law. For information about the providers involved, any transfers outside the European Economic Area and the associated safeguards, you can contact the data controller.

Cookies and browser storage

The website code does not include advertising or visitor analytics tools. The Vikey calendar uses the browser’s local storage for technical session and authentication identifiers and tokens needed for the service to work. Hosting services may use additional technical mechanisms for security and access.

Local storage items may remain in your browser until removed by the service or until you clear the website’s data. You can manage cookies and stored data in your browser settings; disabling them may affect the calendar. The link to the Vikey portal remains available.

Retention

Enquiry data are retained for the time needed to handle the enquiry and any subsequent relationship. Booking and stay data are retained to perform the contract and for the periods required by applicable obligations. Retention may continue where necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. Technical data follow the purposes and operating timeframes of the services processing them.

Your rights

In the cases and within the limits provided by the Regulation, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (new tab).
